I've tried to drown it out with headphones and music but that doesn't really work to much && I have no earplugs.

......and let me give you a different view of a snoring mate.....I know I snored (but it never bothered me; I didn't even hear it)....but sometimes I heard my husband snore and at times that bothered me. Then years went by and he was unwell. I began worrying when I didn't hear him. Was he all right? Why wasn't he snoring? I'd check to see if he was breathing. Then he'd start snoring after I'd touched him and I'd lay there awake. And then in 1998 he died. Very suddenly. No warning. I miss his snoring.

some snores even ear plugs wont help you sorry.
i found sleeping in another room to work for me. have been doing this for over 10 yrs now. it doesnt mean there is anything wrong with your relationship but.
just when it comes to sleeping you have different needs.
my hubby slept on the mattress on the floor in the loungeroom for 9 of those 10 years until a spare room became available.
sometimes we swapped and i would sleep on the mattress too and he would go back into the main bedroom. In the end the big picture is you both get a good night sleep.

ear plus didn't work? that is some loud snoring. i use earplugs, and nudge the person asking them to turn on their side.it doesn't really wake them completely, just enough to stop the snoring.maybe a small fan on your side of the bed, will kind of help the sound blend in with the snoring , i would kind of be concerned with why the snoring is so loud..that might indicate a problem medically with them. go under yahoo health link, check that out. good luck
