dont forget these.....
Death for apostasy:
Sura 4:89 They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve, that ye may be upon a level (with them). So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them,”
Kill Disbelievers in a cruel fashion:
Sura 5:33: "Those who make war with Allah and his messenger will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. That is how they will be treated in this world, and in the next they will have an awful doom."
Slit throats of unbelievers:
Quran Sura 47:4: Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost.
Amputation for petty theft:
Quran Sura 5:38: Cut off the hands of thieves, whether they are male or female, as punishment for what they have done—a deterrent from God: God is almighty and wise.
Killing unbelievers:
9:123. O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.
Kill disbelievers:
2:191. And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.
Permission for a muslim man to beat his wife if she doesnt obey him:
Sura 4:34: “Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in their sleeping places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.”

'Aulia is the plural of 'wali which may mean much more then friend in arabic. The word is used to mean guardman also, even a lord or a master, the idea of a supporter or a protecter being the chiefelemnt in the meaning of the word. If used for the meaning of a friend, it means a sincerely interested one whose support and protection can always be depended upon, and from whom there can never be expected the least harm or hurt or the apprehention of decieving or misleading at any time in any matter whatsoever. Such a quality can never be expected of any one of the camps hostil to Islam.
The Verses in the Quran was revealed when the jews and christians clans of arabia only in hostility and hatred against the muslims otherwise they were not friends of each other. It refers only to those jews or christians who were at war with muslims and who were always hatching plans against Islam specially in mecca and madina.
This next verse should shed some light
[2:63] Surely, those who believe and the Jews and the Christians and the Sabians - whichever party from among these truly believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good deeds, shall have their reward with their Lord, and no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve.
Holy Quran
"The Romans are vanquished in the nearby land, and they, after their defeat, will gain victory within nine years. God's is the command before and after. And on that day, the believers will rejoice for God's help. He helps whom He pleases, and He is the Mighty, the Merciful. (It is) God's promise. God will not fail in His promise, but most people know not ." 30:1-6
In the first decade of the seventh century, a war between the two great powers of the time, the Persian and Byzantine Empires was started. The war continued for more than twenty years, and the Persians were mostly victorious. The Encyclopaedia Britannica describes the situation:
"The Persian armies plundered Syria and Asia Minor, and in 608 advanced to Chaledon. In 613 and 614, Damascus and Jerusalem were taken by the General Shahaboraz, and the Holy Cross was carried away in the triumph. Soon after, even Egypt was conquered. The Romans (the people of the Byzantine Empire) could offer but little resistance, as they were torn by internal dissensions and pressed by the Avars and Slavs. "
The verses from the Qur'an cited were revealed in the sixth or seventh year after the first revelation came to Mohammad. (This means that these verses were revealed in 615 or 616.) The prophecy contained therein is definite and unconditional. It states that the vanquished Romans will obtain a decisive triumph over the victorious Persians within nine years from this revelation.
Once again the prophecy was made in a direction contrary to the expected outcome of the conflict. It was to be expected that the Romans would be defeated completely, since the Persian forces had already reached the very gates of Constantinople. At that time even the Roman leaders had little hope of eventual victory.
The Roman leaders, with all their military skill and information about that war, could not anticipate their victory. Clear information was unavailable to Mohammad because radio, television, press and efficient postal system did not yet exist. Mohammad, living in Mecca and very far from Constantinople, made the prediction of triumph within a stated time.
The prophecy was fulfilled within nine years after it had been made. Heraclius, the Roman Emperor, advanced to Northern Media, where he destroyed the great fire temple of Gondzak; then in 623 he recaptured all of the lost ground.
The Muslims were very concerned for the defeat of the Romans at the hand of the Persians. The prophecy seems to have been revealed as a condolence to the Muslims, since it states that the believers in Islam will rejoice for the victory of the Romans.
This actually announces a true love on the part of the Muslims towards the Christians.
The Muslims actually were very saddened by the news of the defeat of the Christians at that time. The Christians are followers of the scriptures, and the Muslims are followers of the new scripture, the Qur'an. Both share many beliefs. The Muslims, therefore, felt that there is a close bond between them and the Christians. They felt that the Christians are their brothers in religion.
The news of the defeat of the Romans was a good tiding to the idol-worshippers. They rejoiced at the defeat of the Christians and classed them with the Muslims, their enemies, because both Muslims and Christians are followers of the scriptures and opposed to idol-worshipping.
This relation between the Muslims and the Christians was only natural. Had the Christians accepted Mohammad and received his truth with open hearts, as the Muslims accepted the truth of Jesus, the brotherly relation could have continued between the followers of the two faiths. Unfortunately, the Christians refused to recognize the prophethood of Mohammad and to accept his truth. This and the subsequent events which took place after the death of the Prophet changed the natural atmosphere between the Muslims and Christians.

First, Jerusalem is not a country, as you state. It is a city.
Second, I believe it is the President of Iran you are speaking of (not the Prime Minister), and the man is crazy. Why would you think what he says is valid (other than for us to watch out for him)?
Third, Jews and Muslims get along very well--always have. It is Zionists that many have trouble with. And, Zionists come in all nationalities and religions--not just Jews.. (note: I am a Zionist, but I do have Muslim friends-are you shocked? Some of them are even Palestinians).
Forth, you are a bigot who is trying to stir up trouble.

For the guy above (Muhammad) that just copies and pastes lengthy articles and doesnt think for himself-perhaps youd like to elaborate on this:
"Unfortunately, the Christians refused to recognize the prophethood of Mohammad and to accept his truth. This and the subsequent events which took place after the death of the Prophet changed the natural atmosphere between the Muslims and Christians."
Why should they be forced accept Muhammad? What really happened here?

Muslims seem to have some regard for catholics although they were like a baby that lost his bottle when the Pope quite rightly made his remarks lately.
Also the bombing in spain i think was for the benifet of the more forgiving muslims,it was done to polarize sides.
Muslims cant justify killing because God the Father gave this commandment(not request)
"Thou shalt not kill"
Now God the Father says not to kill but mohamad supposidly contradicts him and says do kill which to me says that mohammad is undermining God.

"We are tolerant of you,we are loyal to peace"
Yes, you're post is sopping with tolerance and peace. Wait a sec! How tolerant is it to believe that one man represents a whole religion? Especially when the majority of that religion have ill feelings towards that man? And how is it that some men whom I've never heard of until they committed horrible crimes are suddenly representative of all that I think and feel? What's wrong with this picture?

Muslims who know Islam/Quran very well and are truthful people would NEVER kill others.
Just because the Iranians wanna get rid of the Jews does NOT necessarily mean that the Iranians represent ALL Muslims. Why not let the GOOD Muslims represent Islam? It's NOT fair!!!
5:51 says: "O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust."
4:89: "...But (they) wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-
4:90: "Except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. If Allah had pleased, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you: Therefore if they withdraw from you but fight you not, and (instead) send you (Guarantees of) peace, then Allah Hath opened no way for you (to war against them).
So don't forget 4:90, buddy. As long as you people are peaceful to us, all's well! (Don't think that just because some unfaithful Muslims are not peaceful, ALL Muslims must be like them!! NOT true.)
As for wiping out the Jews, that's COMPLETELY against Islam!!!
Just because some Muslims go and wanna wipe out all Jews (or other non-Muslims) does NOT mean they're following Islam!!!!
Firstly, the Quran says: "Let there be no compulsion in religion; Truth stands out clearly from Error..." (Quran, 2:246).
Don't you think this means TOLERATE other people's beliefs?
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who's accused of having killed tons of Jews, had a lot of respect for the Jews, ok? He'd even respect their dead during their funerals and such, and he taught others to do the same.
Muhammad (peace be upon him) also said that anyone who offends, hurts, annoys ANY non-Muslim offends, hurts, and annoys HIM (Muhammad, pbuh); and anyone who offends, hurts, annoys HIM, insults GOD!
Obviously, these non-Muslims include Jews; we're to have even more respect for non-Muslims than we're to have for our own Muslim bros and sisters.
The Quran also says to respect and help the Pagans. "If one among the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him so that he may hear the Word of God; and then escort him to where he can be secure" (Quran, 9:6).
Secondly, in the Qur'an, the principle of fighting is purely self-defensive (meaning, they CANNOT initiate a war and kill innocent people!)
"Permission [to fight] is given to those against whom war is being wrongfully waged and, verily, God has indeed the power to succour them; those who have been driven from their homelands against all right for no other reason than their saying, 'Our sustainer is God!'" (22:39-40).
Now, anyone can commit acts of terror and aggression and say, "it's in self-defense." In fact, that is precisely what Al Qaeda is doing: they claim by killing 3,000 people in New York City and Washington, D.C., they are "defending" the Muslim nation against "Zionist and Crusader" aggression against the Muslims. What sheer rubbish! They're NOT following the Quran!!! They're killing others for personal pleasure as have done many, many other religious freaks throughout history.
The Qur'an clearly states, in the remainder of 2:190:
"...but do not commit aggression, for verily, God does not love aggressors."
"Committing aggression" includes killing innocent civilians in Tel Aviv, Beslan, New York, Baghdad, or wherever. Furthermore, when the enemy ceases its hostility, fighting must cease:
"...but if they desist, then all hostility shall cease, save against those who [willfully] do wrong" (2:193).
Another verse repeats this insistence that hostility must cease when the enemy stops its aggression against you:
"But if they [the enemy] incline to peace, incline thou to it as well, and place thy trust in God: verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing! And should they seek but to deceive thee [by their show of peace] - behold, God is enough for thee! He it is who has strengthened thee with His succour, and by giving thee believing followers" (8:61-62).
Thus, even if the enemy is feigning a peaceful posture, the Muslims are still commanded to cease hostility and "place their trust in God."
Truly educated Muslims (educated in Islam!) who practice Islam TRUTHFULLY do not kill (Muslim OR non-Muslim) women, children, civilians, elderly, religious leaders, etc even during wars (only the participant enemies fighting the war can be killed, duh!!!! THIS is the True Islam.
You've said not to tell you that the Quran doesn't say this and that (to wipe out Jews from the face of the earth). What do you want us to tell you then? EVERY religion has had those idiot extremists who just enjoy killing others in the name of their religion! Islam does NOT support their killings, and I've given you verses from the Quran to make my point.
Peace be upon you all, and stop believing everything you hear/read/see, people; it's NOT wise. And stop judging Islam based on what some ignorant, uneducated Muslims make it seem like! "The loud ones don't represent the norm."
