First marinade the cat fish with some chopped garlic, tea spoon of soy sauce, green onions, little bit of olive oil and season with salt and pepper and let it sit for 5 min...in the mean while steam some rice ( that's if you like eating your meals with rice.....i like Bread with my meals) ........then steam or boil broccoli until tender..put some butter on it for flavor and salt.. now your ready for your catfish... sautee it over medium temperature with just little bit of olive oil..cook 4 minutes each side...actually cook the boroccoli last so it's warm..

Sounds like grilled catfish with a tasty rice casserole.

Grill your catfish in a smoking hot pan until golden or seared and set aside.

Chop the broccolli and sautee with garlic and butter until just tender.

Make the rice as directed, substituting the pepper dressing for half the water needed, and add the herbs of your choice. When the rice is complete, add the sauteed broccolli with garlic and butter. Place mix in a baking dish and add the catfish. Bake at 350 for about thirty minutes or until the catfish is flaky.

Enjoy!

Would you consider ...sauteeing the catfish in butter in an open pan, gently so not to burn it, maybe some lemon juice on it as it is getting done....then take the rice and just make it
One cup rice to two cups water til done....salt the water first,
then the broccoli can be done in the microwave to still be green green and crispy...take a little water put in a microwavealbe bowl or dish, the water is for steam, then cut up the brocc. and put it in, with a loose cover of ...
(I use a second bowl upside down like a lid)...and do it on high for 4 to 5 minutes. Serve with fresh lemon and black pepper and save the garlic for your next italian meal!
This is a nice healthy grouping--good Picks!
Good Luck!
