I know it is beautiful all over Thailand. I am planning on spending most of my time on the southern strip a little bit of time around Chaing Mai and maybe going to Mayalsia also but only to Borneo.

This site is the best if you have never been to Thailand.
In the 3 provinces in the very South of Thailand are very unsafe, so steer clear of there. The muslims are killing teachers, buddhists, innocent people there on a daily basis.

Hi, places to see in Thailand? There will be quite a few and also some distances between them. For starters in the south, I will recommend visiting Hua Hin anf Pranburi in Prachuab Khiri Khan. You get a lot of privacy on some of the finer beaches in Thailand.
Next will be Krabi and Phang-nga, just south ot Phuket. Nice scenery and quiet too.
Head to the nothern Thailand. Chiangmai will be good with its mountain scene. Likewise further up to Chiangrai. And also west to Tak and Mae Hong Son. These are some of the better provinces to visit while in Thailand. You can look up www.tourismthailand.org for information on them. Go to Krabi, one of the provinces in Thailand. There are beautiful beaches and islands. Good food , nice people.

I live in Tak Province, south of CM.. there are many beautiful places scattered about.. unfortunately, most need a car to get to but be open to getting out of some of the tourist areas and having a look about..

The chub siy bar and grill; and exotic dancer palace.
shrimp and dancers are ten cents a dance.
