It is our responsibility to share the good news of Christ and love our neighbor as our self. It is God who reveals Himself to those we reach out to. If we have represented God and the perfect love that He has for us to those around us we have done our part, the rest is between God and that person. Aside from that the issue of our will to do things our way, our pride is the answer you are looking for.

I believe that the root of all sin is pride and that is what keeps us separated from God and knowing Him one on one.

I think that the term "acceptance" implies that man has power over God.

If he does not have this power, then the act of salvation comes completely from God, and thus your answer is a pretty easy one -- faith is given, not taken, or claimed, or authorized with an acceptance prayer. And, rather than being hard for people to accept, it becomes impossible, and with this logic, man must completely rely on God's mercy for his salvation.

Its not a gift its a curse, also what proof do you have that Jesus saves and not destroys? Im a Pagan I know christianity is an evil religion full of racist, hateful, homophobic, ignorant, arrogant, people that think theyre right and everyone else is wrong, also i know that christians hate nature, and Nature is very angry at the way christians treat her. dont make nature mad or nature will turn on you like a wild beast.

Matthew 16:16-17
Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal [this] to you, but My Father who is in heaven

God draws us to him only in prayer and through Jesus Christ. If people repent and accept Jesus, then God will reveal himself.

For one main reason. G-d would not come to earth in human form. Jesus is not G-d. There is no G-d but G-d. See? It is very simple.

Hello, K.E Nodding,

Jesus tells us in his word that not everyone will accept his ways, therefore we kinda have to just receive that as our answer, although I know in the word some place is an answer to your question. Good Luck

One of the great myths perpetuated by sin is "there is no sin." So, therefore I don't need to be saved.

And certainly if God himself doesn't exist, oh well, there really must be no need to discern sin.

Although we know this isn't true, but it silences the conscience.

Why is it so hard for people to accept that we do not all believe as they do??

There will always be those who don't believe. There's nothing that can be done to change that. We just have to love them, pray for them and hold no ill will toward them. They are human and God loves them as much as us.
