My friend Ashley moved Today 1-18-07 and so now her and her boy friend are apart i always liked him before she came to our school but i dont want to rush into things with him but i was planning to ask him out tommorow 1-19-07. What do i do????????

DO NOT ASK HIM OUT TOMORROW!! Even if you like him, wait a little, because if you ask him out tomorrow, 2 bad things will happen...
1: Your friend who moved will find out, make no doubt about it. When asking out a good friends ex, always wait at least 3 weeks to a month, at least.
2: He will get the impression that you want him bad, making you seem desperate. Think about it, if you just dumped a boy, and the next day some guy asks you out, you are gonna get a big confidence boost, thinking damn im pretty hot all these guys asking me out. Then, you'll get the mind set that if this guy doesnt work, why try to make it work, if im so hot i can get any guy. The same will happen with him, so if you do go out, he might leave over any tiny problem, or there is a possibility of unfaithfulness.
My suggestion is talk to him this weekend, get to know him better, and in 3 or 4 weeks ask him out. Good luck dear

First don't ask him out right now what around a week or two because he prolbal misses Ashley and then go up to him and say ''Hey I liked you for a long time now and i'm wondering if you would like to go out with me '' hopefully he will say yes but if he says no maybe he still is alittle sad and right now I think you are to so wait a week or two and then ask him I hope everything works out good luck

You should first ask yourself, "what kind of friend am I?". I mean, what kind of girl would rush to ask her friend's boyfriend out on a romantic date the day after she moves away? That to me, is not being a good friend or a faithful, loyal person. If you like the guy - give it time.. Be friends and in the end if it is meant to be, then he will do the asking out - after he has gotten over his girl moving away. By you asking him out so soon. It shows him that you are not a good friend, you are not loyal or faithful - And in so doing, why would he want to date a girl who is not faithful to her friends? Would she be faithful to me?

Take things slow and ask him if he wants to hang out together. Talk to Ashley about how she would feel, because she is your friend, and if she isn't okay with it, you probably shouldn't pursue it. Wait at least a week to ask him to hang out but it's not a good idea to ask him out without her permission because regardless of who liked who first, she is your friend and she deserves the truth.

I think asking him out is a bit tacky. You said she was a friend that moved and was dating him, right? Are you a friend to her or not? You could visit with him, ask how he's doing, let him know you're around if he needs company or someone to talk with or hang out with but ask him out? I don't think that's a very nice thing to do. Maybe someday. Think you could wait? It would be more respectable. Really!

First go talk to him and see how things are going. Start simple, go bowl, or a game room. or something that you guys like. Then after a few of those then you'd be able to confront him on your feelings and you should find out how he feels about you. But take it slow. He may just be hiding his feelings about your friend. SO walk softly and he may let you know on his own.

Maybe you should talk to your friend, ask her if she is done with that guy, will they be a long distance relationship?? Will she ever be back?? And talk to him, does he like you? will it be to weird for him since you and his Ex are friends?? Just some questions.. But all in all go for it if they are done for good.. Wouldn't want you to step on any toes..

This guy must be hot property but it's a bit nasty to go for the kill a day after... how long were Ashely & this guy together for?
Regardless, it's up to him as well whether he wants to move on so quickly.

If she's just left, I'd wait a while before saying anything. Also, be carefu; your friend doesn't get mad at you if you do go out with him. He may still like her for a while even after she's left.
