Love or like?

i have been going out with my boyfriend for 3 months now but i've known and been his best friend for over a year. I like him A LOT! i think he knows me more then anyone and i think im his 'sholder to lean on' and all that good stuff. lol. anyways.. my boyfriend said he loved me and i didnt know what to say. ive been saying it for a while now but i want to make sure its true. and i'm not just saying it to make him happy? how do u know u REALLY love someone? and u cant just say 'u'll know'.

if i lost him i would be lost..heatbroken.

No i can hardley be away from him for a day.. i cant wait to come home and call him. i get so excited everytime he calls. i stay up till 2 am talking to him sometimes

Love is more of a feeling. ITs one of those things that no matter what harm may happen or the small little or maybe even major faults you still love him for who he is. Even if he has made some mistakes and has tried to make up for them, you still see him in the same shade of light. What would you do without him is something you should ask yourself and if you were to feel lost and heartbroken, chances are....you love the guy.

Well, you really know when you truly love someone when your love is kind, thoughtful, patient, compassionate, non-judgmental. You love someone when you put your needs aside at times to make the happy. Not doing things that takes away your integrity or self-esteem of course. But when you would probably even lay your life down for that person.

When you love someone you think about them allllllll the time.
I mean love at first sight is possible and i wish i had that but most people will develop love after a longer time than 3 months, but it can be much less.

well...u can't really just love sumone untill u know every single itty bitty detail about them specially when they r in anger. If u don't know what to say to him then that clearly means u don't love him and u r not sure if this is just a love relationship or a best friend relationship.

im in LOVE with one of my friends and i told him and he said it back and i knew he meant it because randomly he would say "i love you" while we would be talking but we never dated that was about 6 months ago but i still feel the same way about him and the way i knew was that i always wanted to spend time with him and i always wanted to talk to him and he just made me happy every time he would even look at me it would always put a smile on my face :]
