I met my gf online a good while back. Any way she wants me to go visit her in KY, but i live in LA. I want to go but, my parents don't want me to go. I have money saved up to go this summer. If i go i will be in alot of trouble with my Mom, and Step-father. I just want to go. We love each other. We have talked on the phone and on myspace for so long now about it. Does someone have some advise?

Follow your heart, if your parents dont let you go and you listen you will spend your whole life what it would be like if you did go and met her and you just have to follow your heart. It's not your parents' decision. You have to decide. Hope that helps =]

I'm not sure of your age,but if you are not 18 I would say no. Especially if you are thinking about going without your parent permission! If they report you as a runaway you could get your girlfriend and her parents in trouble with the law. Since you have money saved up why don't you see if your bought her ticket if she could come and visit you. Good luck!

I think you need to do it. I mean, they shouldn't get in the way of true love, should they? Also, talk with your mom. Tell her that you will pay for everything, and that you think it's about time you meet her. Tell your mom a little bit about your girlfriend, that way she isn't so insecure about it. Follow your heart and do what you want, or else people will walk all over you for the rest of your life.

HEY love is really hard somtimes why would you want to cause division in your family? If she wants to see you let her come there..Or just meet each other half way but let your parents know about it.
