We used to have these things during school lunch that were called Western Burgers. They were really good (in my opinion anyway). It was ground beef with I don't know what kind of spices wrapped in flaky crust / bread type thing. They looked like a ball. They were served w/ mustard packets. Anyone ever heard of them or know what I'm talking about and happen to know where I can get the recipe for them?

I wanted to add that I've tried searching for this recipe at Yahoo, Google and Allrecipes.com w/ no or not the same results as what I'm talking about. So if you ever had these at your school cafeteria, you'll probably know what I'm talking about.

What you have described is a " Pastie", or a version of an "Empinada", a type of cooked meat in a pastry wrapper and then baked.
