It took my girlfriend 3 hours to get from town to cinnamon brow.

I'm a bus driver. I got lucky and finished work just as it kicked off. But some of the other drivers were saying it just kept getting worse. One driver took 5 hours to do one trip around orford.

Which genius decided to close town to cars? Too dangerous to drive through but ok to walk around?

From a fellow Warrington Lassie, I cheated and took the day off today (actually I am genuinely sick) but I knew that Thelwall Viaduct would cause more mayhem then what we normally have and Cromwell Avenue at 8.45 in the morning - ARGGHHHHHH!!!

I don't live round there, but I heard on the news there was major problems in the north west area.

Getting into Bristol yesterday morning and this morning was an absolute nightmare because of the high winds. But getting home last night was easy, I got home 30 minutes earlier than I normally do.

We all did, Thelwall viaduct was shut, Runcorn Bridge was shut, Mersey tunnels were packed. Amazing little bit of weather and this country grinds to a stand still!

i live in the far northwest and use the m6 m58 m56 and i will say after junction 33 on the m6 heading south in the morning is just stupid the amount of traffic

try living near the dartford tunnel/bridge then you will know what grid locked means
