hard to tell,

Over time you grow in holyness. 1 John lists multiple things that you can look at to know you are saved. Read through that, and find them (there's about 8-10).

Also I'd ask... Do you love or hate sin? Is there a sin in your life that you won't let go? Has your thought life been getting better or worse? Do you seek God?

The bible says work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

As for me, I know that I'm 100% saved because the bible hasn't changed since I committed to Christ. It's still there. Same words. Same promices. Same everything. Every time I read it I trust in it as the Word of God, knowing that after 5 years, it's still true. Jesus still died 2000 years ago for the forgiveness of my sins, and because of that, I trust that I am absolutely saved.

good question...

How could you be sure that when you sat in your chair that it would not fall apart when you sat down... You used faith...

How can you be sure you will have something to eat for breakfast in the morning.... (faith)

To be sure, just have faith in God, and believe...

It is like jumping off the high dive for the first time... you get scared, the distance looks like it's waaaaayyy down there... but you close your eyes and jumped, (having faith) that the water would keep you from crashing into the bottom of the hard pool floor, thereby killing yourself... After that you spend most of your time running back up that latter to jump again, and again, because now you know that it is fun stuff.

It may seem scarey at first, but close your eyes, and just trust in the Word of God.. If you have believed that Jesus is the Son of God, and that God raised Him from the dead, and you realize you are a sinner, and need deliverence, and you have repented of your sins, then just trust God. Take that leap of (faith)... you will find that each time you run back to God, you realize that this is fun stuff.. Even if your friends or family are still scared to jump.

Because I'm a Muslim.

In the Bible we find neither the words “Christianity” nor “Judaïsm”.
Jesus actually never pronounced the words “Christian” and “Christianity” in all his life.
The word “Christian” was created long after Jesus’ departure, as the Bible clearly shows it (Acts 11:26).

Jesus never said he had come to create a new religion. If he had wanted to, don’t you think he wouldn’t have clearly said it, and named that religion, like the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad clearly did. But Jesus never did.

Jesus also never called to build churches (these places full of images and statues, which clearly contradicts God’s 2nd Commandment: “You shall make no image or representation of whatever is in Heaven or here on Earth.” Exodus 20:4). And Jesus taught in synagogues according to the Bible, i.e. places where like in mosques there are no images nor statues.

As for the word “Judaïsm”, it describes more an ethnic group than a religion (the descendants of Juda and by extension of his father Jacob), that’s why you find some people calling themselves “atheist Jew”. And how could someone think that God limited the knowledge of the Truth about the One True God to only one people and keep all the others ignorant. Yet Judaïsm rejects all non Jewish Prophets, it is not Universal contrary to Islam that claims that God sent Prophets to all peoples.

Now let’s see how Jesus really lived according to the Bible:
-Like Muslims, Jesus never ate pork (Moses’ law that Jesus taught, Leviticus 11:7,8)
-Like Muslims, Jesus taught and practiced fasting (Luke 5:35; Mat 4:2 and 6:16)
-Like Muslims, when Jesus met his friends or disciples, he said to them “peace be upon you” (Luke 24:36), “salam aleikoum” in Arabic
-Like Muslims, Jesus was circumcised (Luke 2:21)
-Like Muslims Jesus prayed with “his face onto the ground” (Matthew 26:39)

By the way, still according to the Bible, all Prophets prayed their face onto the ground:
Joshua fell his face upon the earth (Joshua 5:4)
Moses and Aaron fell their face onto the ground (Numbers 20:6)
Abraham fell on his face, and God spake to him (Genesis 17:3)
Jesus fell his face onto the ground (Matthew 26:39)

I don't know about you, but I've never seen a Christian pray the way Jesus did according to the Bible (his face onto the ground).

Peace and Love

The Bible tells me PLAINLY!

The process of becoming saved is called JUSTIFICATION.
The penalty for sins committed are removed. Romans 4: 7f. 2Corinthians 5:19.
The condemnation is gone. Romans 8: 1, 33f.
There is peace with GOD. Romans 5: 1. Ephesians 2: 14-17.
One is restored to GODS favour. Romans 4: 6 1Corinthians 1: 30. 2Corinthians 5: 21.
The believer is now clothed in a righteousness not his own, provided by Jesus, and is therefore acceptable to fellowship with GOD.

There is now "heirship" to eternal life. Titus 3: 7.
Righteous living becomes possible. Philippians 1: 11. 1John 3: 7.
The JUISTIFIED person is assured that he or she will be SAVED from the coming wrath of GOD. Romans 5: 9. 1Thesalonians 1: 10.
The person is assured of GLORIFICATION (Going to Heaven). Matthew 13: 43. Romans 8: 30.
Galatians 5: 5.
The moment a person believes in Jesus The Christ that person is SANCTIFIED.

Notice in The Bible that the believers are called SAINTS? ALL believers are saints. That is because they have been sanctified. It does NOT mean perfect! 1 Corinthians 1: 2. Ephesians 1: 1. Colossians 1: 2. Hebrews 10: 10. Jude 3.

In 1Corinthians we have proof that one can still be "fleshy" and be SAVED or Sanctified.
Christ Sanctified the SAVED by the shedding of HIS own blood. Hebrews 13: 12.
The new believer is now COMPLETE in HIM. Colossians 2: 10.

Heirs to the Holiness NOT THROUGH ANY EFFORTS OF THEIR OWN.

Romans 8: 38 and 39 now tells us IT IS FOR EVER! Salvation can not be lost, stolen, or taken away by anything or anybody! IT IS FOREVER!

I believe that once a person exercises saving faith in Jesus Christ, he or she is forever in the family of God. God never kicks anyone our of his forever family. A number of Scripture passages support this view. For example, in 1 Corinthians 12:13 we are told that at the moment of salvation the Holy Spirit places us in the body of Christ. Once we are infused into the body of Christ, we are never excised from the body. In fact, Ephesians 1:12 and 4:30 indicate that at the moment of believing in Jesus Christ for salvation, we are permanently "sealed" by the Holy Spirit. At that point, we are God's everlasting property. That seal guarantees that we'll make it to heaven.
Moreover, we read in John 10:28-30 that it is the Father's purpose to keep us secure despite anything that might happen once we have trusted in Christ. Nothing can snatch us out of His hands. God's plans cannot be thwarted (Isaiah 14:24). Further, Romans 8:29-30 portrays an unbroken chain that spans from the predestination of believers to their glorification in heaven.
Another fact we need to keep in mind is that Christ regularly prays for each Christian (Hewbews 7:25). With Jesus interceding for us, we are sucure. (His prayers are always answered!)
Of course, the fact that a believer is secure in his salvation does not mean he is free to sin. If the Christian sins and remains in that sin, Scripture says that God will discipline him or her just as a father disciplines his children (see Hebrews 12:7-11).

the route of being an total Christian calls for self-understand-how, you may't anticipate that faith no longer to be examined. that is a existence lengthy attitude of soul-searching and thoughtful introspection. there's no clarification why the vast bang concept and having absolute faith in Christ are jointly unique, many scientists are non secular Christians (in many cases by technique of seeing the ask your self and not problem-free sorts of the universe by ability of a clinical lens) there's no biblical foundation for the rapture. that is a misinterpretation of the passage (a million Thessalonians 4:thirteen-17), that became popularized by technique of 19th century revivalist preachers. save an open ideas and heart and also you'd be high-quality. And "being kept by technique of religion on my own" makes no experience, real faith might want to genuinely change the way you stay.

I am 100% sure that I am saved because I know Jesus in person and He knows me. This is what sets Christianity apart from every other religion in the entire world. All of the others teach you a perspective about God based on mans understanding of God. In accepting the path to God, made by God for mankind to be able to reach Him their are no longer any barriers between man and God.

It is because of Jesus that every person can be in the presence of God and know God one on one. Jesus has taken care of it all for us. There is nothing we can do to make our self more acceptable to God. This is how we are able to know for sure 100% that our name is written in the Lambs Book of Life.

I am....
because God is faithful in His promises.
John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)
3. "Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5. Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God."
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

By the Holy Spirit that we are sealed with unto the day of redemption complete. It is the blessed assurance from heaven, and the knower in ones knower.

If one doesn't pray directly to God and sense God, one isn't born of God. Because the Holy Spirit is with and shall be in all who are born of God. Not by mans will, but by Gods will.

If you can pray to Father God in spirit & truth 24/7, then you know you are His, and inherit Gods Kingdom.
