woman –noun

So, assuming you are not throwing money at various fowl (hey, though if that's what floats your boat...), it would seem to be a case where the difference is in the perceptions of the person that makes the decision to call someone one or the other.

Please take no offense, but as a real woman, I would stay away from a "PLAYER'. such as you call yourself. Therefore, I would submit the theory, you may never have dated a real woman. What a shame. I imagine until you stop being a player, you may never know the answer to your question. In addition, after looking up the terms and finding the term "chick" as being a derogatory slang term, I imagine whether a female person is a woman or a chick is in the eyes of the beholder biased by their own regard or disregard of the human female.

The difference is a woman isn't yellow with feathers! The fact that you think a woman turns into a chick when you "throw nice words at her" makes it obvious they will only respond to you if they are willing to lower their standards!
