It depends on the state and the age difference between you and your partner. I would suggest you look up the Statutory Rape laws in your home town or state. That is the best way to know what is the legal age. Some states say you have to be 18 while others say you have to be 21. There is no way for someone to just give you a generic age because the states do very. I hope that helps some.

Men and women are not considered adults (in the law) until they are 18 years old. Like everyone else said about 95% of states require you to be 18 to get legally married, no exceptions. The other 5%(and you can look this up online) You have to be at least 16 and have a parents consent before you can.

OH GOD NO!! You do not want to be married just think you do! Is the girl having a baby?? I was 16 and I talked my dad into letting me get married it was a big mistake. Lasted two years and that was that! I remarried ten years later and was a much better choice.

In America, the law varies from state to state. I remember hearing that, with parental approval, in one state (I think it was Tennessee) the legal age was 15.
