ahh ! okay, so my crush gave me his number yesterday ..
i was too scared to call him so i didn`t.
but today, he wasn`t at school! =[
& i think it would be appropiate to call him
& say something like, "hey.. where were you today?"
or somethingg like that. [=
but a few of my friends told me not to call him,
he might think i`m too stalker-ish. =[
which doesn`t make sense.. i mean, afterall.. he did give me his number... doesn`t that mean he wants me to call ?

& what if it`s the reject number !?

first thing is calm down...he is just a guy. No use over analyzing every detail. Now, if you want this guy to notice you, play hard to get a little...don't act like a B**ch, because no guy likes that. Don't call tonite, give it awhile...a general phiosophy i have about dating is always wait at least 3 days to call a girl if she gives you her number, that way she doesnt get a "Damn i really like you"/desperate kinda vibe. If this guy knows your noticing when he's absent, and your calling him alot, there will be no mystery...he knows you like him. A strong form of attraction has to do with mystery. Don't put all your cards on the table at once. Make him want to know more. But enough of my dating advice....to answer your question, if you have classes with him, just casually go up to him and be like "I noticed you werent here yesterday, everything all right with you?" wwhen he answers, just create simple conversation (a simple way to do this is just ask who, what, where, when questions. He says he was sick, say oh really, do u know what you had? Things like that, make him talk0 about himself....all humans like talking about themselves.) If the conversation goes well, ask him out to coffee or something, whatever you enjoy. NEVER go on a date somewhere where ur not gonna have fun, becuz no guy/girl is important enough where ur gonna do something that only they like, and u are goin to be faking it thru the whole date.

What is the problem with your friends? It is perfectly safe for you to call him, he GAVE his number TO you. Now if you would have gotten his number from someone else and then you would have called him, than that would be stalker-ish. This is your chance to start a phone bond. Call him, let your number show up on his caller ID and then talk to him. I'm positive that phone calls from him won't be far behind. Good luck babe!

Any guy that wants you to call him first is a dope. Next time you see him say..oh I forgot to give you my number... and let him call you first so you are in control of the situation not the other way around. And better yet, you are likely too young to worry about dating anyway, just finish school and enjoy your friends. Getting tangled in the dating thing now is a waste of your time and worse dangerous.

Just give him a call and like you said, just tell him you didnt see him today. Then see if he puts any effort into the conversation. If he just answers everything you say with one or two words, you're probably boring him or he just doesn't feel like talking. If so, just tell him, "well you have my number now on your phone don't you?" and then leave the ball in his court and see if he calls you. If he doesn't, then just dress really cute and be really outgoing and likeable and he will realize what he's missing! :) Then your phone will ring! Good luck!
