I had a severe phobia of vomiting. It was horrible, I wouldn't get in a car or even leave the house, ever, because I was afraid I'd throw up. Even if I was perfectly healthy. My doctor and I had NO clue where it came from. I had to be put on an anti-anxiety med to ease it... doing much better now, thank goodness!

I have a bit of a fear of heights: not skyscrapers or airplanes, just unenclosed heights like the high dive of a swimming pool, the edge of a cliff, or rides at an amusement park. This isn't a phobia, though, because it doesn't bother me or impair my life in any way unless I am in the situation at the moment. Besides that. I fear very little.

I am also terrified of aliens. I have been since I was a child. I saw the movie Signs when it came out and it intensified my fear. I can't even take the trash out because I am so scared an alien will be there. On "Signs" the aliens don't like water though so I am okay when it is raining... weird. My family thinks it is funny and are always teasing me. I don't mind the "Alien vs predator" type of alien, or ET - I'm just scared of the tall, skinny, big eyed ones like stretched out humans.... aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!

I hate closed in spaces (like being in a closet, etc.). I get panic attacks from them. Other than that I HATE flies! I don't know if it's a true phobia or not, but I freak out if one lands on me or is near me. My husband laughs at me because I go running frantically from the room and shout for him to kill it. I refuse to enter the room again until I know the fly is dead, and even then it's hard. Yes, I know, I am weird :).

I have Obsessive/compulsive disorder, and I have some very unique phobias.

I am afraid of mayonnaise. I am also afraid of garbage in general, greasy substances (like oil used to make french fries), and germs, too. I know this must all sound weird, but I am being honest.
