So, did Fedor fight in Bodog or did he get out because of an injury or something?

Actually the monson fight has been scratched and there is speculation that Monson will fight Fedor's little brother Alexander. It has since been anounced that Fedor will be facing #1 Ranked middleweight Matt "the law" Lindland on the March 3rd BodogFIGHT card.

The decision to not fight monson came strangly days after Fedor signed an extension with PrideFC, although it is writen into Fedors contract that he can fight for another organization as long as the fight is in his home country of Russia, but there is much speculation that after re-signing with PrideFC they made him request a different opponent, the reasoning behind this is logical, Pride just launched a US ad campaign that states simply "Our fighters are better than UFC's" and they don't want to chance having an opponent beat their champion especially one who just lost to the UFC's champion, although I doubt Fedor is scared, PrideFC is.

confident and no. i might particularly see Monson circulate over to delight to venture Fedor, than the two warring parties circulate over to Bodog. i think of Fedor would be too lots for Monson to attend to. he's quicker, a much greater helpful striker and could be waiting to flee/opposite and submission tries the Snowman will throw at him. Fedor will knock him out chilly interior the 1st around.

I feel sorry for Monson. He's a mediocre fighter from UFC fighting possibly the greatest and most versatile MMA fighter of all times.
