menudo as far as I know is a Mexican tripe soup often served on Sundays as a hangover cure at many Mexican restaurants.

as i expected i am a filipino....the menudo dish is compost of
pigs liver(chopped into diced),
some porks(chopped in to diced,
raisins,
hotdogs(at least 5 pcs.chopped into diced),
tomato sauce(3 or 2 packs will do),
water(2 cups will be enough),
cornstarch(mix it with water, must be equal amount)
onions(chopped in desired big)
carrots(chopped into diced)
green bell pepper(chopped into the diced,1 pc. is enough)
sugar,salt,pepper,cooking oil
in the casserole, fry the onions with the cooking oil until light brown
mix up the livers, porks, and the hotdogs,
if you think that the meats are cook pour in the tomato sauce boil it for a while then put the water.
add the carrots, raisins, sugar, salt, pepper and the green bell pepper then boil it until the is soft enough for your dad
stir in the cornstarch solution you made while stirring the menudo
cook it for 5 minutes then serve hot....
TIPS & WARNINGS:
avoid the onions to become dark brown or else the dish will be taste bitter
put only a little amount of sugar, salt and the pepper(because you already put raisins)
make sure that the cornstarch solution is well mix with the water or else there will be ''sipon'' or phlem on your dish(it was not realy a phlem it look like a phlem)
make sure you taste the dish for every 11 minutes
i hope it will help you a lot cause this is the first time I gave this recipe,I just saw it to my dad ever since he cook it(it been 16 years) thank you......may i know if your dad was a filipino and which part of the world do you live (send me your answer through my e-mail add "harold_gonzales23@yahoo.com")

I make a somewhat user-friendly leek factor dish. it incredibly is purely leeks in a cheese sauce to prepare the leeks cut back off the basis Take off any drained leaves and slice into rounds until eventually the leaves have became eco-friendly and the 1st leaf has spilt. Drop into boiling water for a couple of minutes then drain. try a chunk of leek to make specific it incredibly is cooked. The cooking time for leeks varies particularly with the age and length of the leeks. organize in an ovenproof dish and pour your popular cheese sauce over the drained leeks. pop under a intense grill for a couple of minutes until eventually the cheese sauce bubble and one or 2 brown spots look. Leeks cut back plenty in cooking, do no longer be disenchanted in case you finally end up with plenty much less leek than you start up out with. i admire this dish, and serve it as a starter on it incredibly is very own or as vegetable with seafood. i'm hoping you attempt it and revel in it. Oh, and specific, leeks are section of the onion kinfolk and are the national vegetable of Wales

Send me an email addressed to cnhbowen@yahoo.com and advise me of your State of residence, because my wife does not want her recipe to be known near our State of the U.S.A. Your email will be answered, one way or another.
