another answer that gets a lot of questions, is " because I said so! ".. growing up I hated my mom telling me this, and I still do, I live at home, and still ask if I can do some things, and my mom still uses this same line, and I am 19.. sad, yes I know, but she is my mom, I try to respect what she says, of course most of the time I don't do it gladly.. moms have a hard job, and most people think that moms get to basically retire after their children turn 18, so NOT TRUE!.. it's a lifetime job.. and I wouldn't trade my mom for the world, even when she gets on my nerves, or embarrasses me..
