Do not believe any women that says otherwise, but yes it matters. It will matter on how nice it is and what it is.
Some women will never go with a guy that owns a truck. They see him as a redneck. Some only want a guy with a truck. It kinda screams testosterone.
Some women will not be seen in a car that attracts attention. I drove a 2005 yellow beatle for a month and the woman I was with didn't like the attention she felt the yellow attracted.
Some women love the attention. I drive a Lincoln Mk VIII and a lot of women see how nice it is and carry it over to my personality. I had one say how surpised she was by how dirty my truck was after seeing my car. Some women see this car as bragging.
I drove a clean nissan wagon and a van for a while and it turned off a few women. So it is dependant upon the woman.

Nope, I used to be the one who would only go for guys with the Nissan Skylines or "done up" Holdens.
The man I'm engaged to today had an old Ford Laser, it's funny how your love for someone can change what you think... now he drives a hot mitsubishi.
But remember, a guy who drives a hot sports car is always compensating for something else...

Yes, it does. No woman wants to be seen in a crusty/rusty dirty lookin' vehicle. It usually means the guy is not financially stable if he can't afford a decent car. If he has a nice car, he probably dresses nice, which means he cares about his appearance. Which is always a plus. I don't want a guy who walks around lookin' a mess and doesn't even care. So, if he dresses nice and has a nice car, he probably has a great job. Which is great. He can support himself, which we love. So, nice car, nice clothes, fab job, means....nice house! You see how everything is connected? Hope this helps.

No, it doesn't really affect my perception of him...just my perception of his choice in vehicles. What one drives doesn't make one a good or bad person or smart or funny or anything else.
