4 hours late home, cant remeber ever seeing such carnage on our roads 4 over turned lorry's (Thellwall Viaduct, Stafford , M61 junction of M60 and Lancaster) 3cars smashed by hitting trees (near congleton one crushed) I hope the are OK! the last one did not look to good. I am taking the day of tommorrow it just aint worth it.

It took me 40 minutes by bus to travel the 9 miles home. It normally takes 90 minutes.

Yeah took me 3 hours to do 25 miles. Normally takes 45 mins. Was a complete nightmare, though it doesn't beat your nine hours.

I had a complete nightmare, I tried to go home to my mums but everything was cancelled because of the weather. Tried to get a tube, then bus then walk, was nightmare day.. I would say in total 3 hours. x

And I thought nearly getting blown away whilst walking was bad enough. Poor you!!!
Chris P - You live 1/2 mile away and you DRIVE?????? Why don't you walk, it would be healthier for you and your car, if it only goes short distances it is less economical.

Well buddy frankly no......I have the dubious situation of living above my job which,please believe me,is nowhere near as funky as it sounds-think on call 24/7.Your situation sounds pants too tho so,obviously,u hav my sympathy girl-some compromise neede i'm thinking!
