Should I dye my hair black?

Question

I have tanned skin, like bronzish tanned, and i have hazel eyes, i look exactly like that Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu...please search her...and tell me if black hair would look good with features like that? I need to know...because now it is in between a sort of brown...or should I dye my hair light brown. Pleaes let me know thanks!

For most people, black is too dark and contrasts too much with their natural skin tone. What color are your eyebrows? They will normally give you an indication of how dark YOU can go. If black is too much, then consider going with a very dark, rich brown. You might even want to throw in some lo-lites that are darker than the overall color.

For a dramatic change, you are probably best going to a hair salon and not doing a dye-at-home job. A professional will be able to best help you select the right color to enhance your natural features. Moreover, if it's wrong, they will probably correct it free of charge; if you do it at home, you're probably going to have to pay to have it corrected anyway!

i like the dark look, but that being said black sometimes can look a little fake on some ppl, so what u can do is dye it a darker brown, see what u think, and if u still want it darker, go darker.
its a lot easier to go darker then lighter, and trust me, once blacks in your hair, getting it out is not easy, and even when it is out, your hair is still a little messed up.
u can also try l'oreal color pulse electic black i think its called, it'll start black then fade into a cool purple color, and will be washed completely out of your hair within 2 weeks, that way u can see what black will look like on a temporary basis.

dont do it!!! it is rly hard to get out..u have to strip ur hair and that does a lot of damage. if anything try a wash out color first that lasts like a month and see if u like it.

personally i would recommend a dark brown. u might like that better so u look a bit less goth!

NO NO NO NO NO!! BLACK HAIR DYE IS THE WORST!! YOUR ROOTS SHOW REALLY BAD! IT IS MURDER TO GET OUT! TRUST ME!! since you say that you look like her. sure sye your hair black. just make sure to get your hair dyed professionally the first few times to make sure you don't get reaction from the dye.
