We all feel like that sometimes don't we? But if you're still feeling like it after a few days, you'll have to take action. It can be hard as you may feel apathetic too and believe that nothing can solve your problems but you're wrong. Here are some ideas you could try.
1. Ring someone you know who you like and tell them how you feel...a workmate, an older neighbour maybe? It can help you see the situation from another viewpoint.
2. The Samaritans if you're really down and feel too embarrassed to tell anyone you know.
3. Take the plunge and volunteer...any charity would be grateful for a couple of hours of your time a week...this way you would be 'getting out of yourself'...seeing other people and may help put your problem in perspective.
4. Visit your doctor...there are some very good and non-addictive anti-depressants on the market nowadays.
5. Take up a sport or go to the gym...it may feel so hard at first but it's been proved beyond doubt that physical exercise improves our mental state.
6. Get out of doors as much as possible...nature has healing properties..a walk in the park..zoo etc. Fresh air and exercise again - every day!!
7. Don't watch the news or read newspapers when you're like this....they only emphasise the negative aspects in the news. Similarly - close your ears to negative people and their whining!
8. Start a new hobby...painting is therapeutic...or you could join an evening class...you'd meet people and have a new interest.
9. Accept that you're in a sad phase...but remember that it'll pass.
10. Get up from your computer and decide that from this very moment you are going to do everything possible NOT to be alone and sad. Good luck.

Well i`ve been alone and sad since my ex walked out on me and our 4 year old son 2 weeks ago this is the 2nd time he`s done this to us,So i`m now a single mother at 24,i`ve been sitting down in the dumps and feeling lonely and then i decided to do something about it and i`ve accepted an invitation to go out on saturday night, this is the first time i`ve been out in ages and i intend to enjoy myself and get on with it instead of sitting about feeling sorry for myself.
Why don`t you invite some friends round or arrange a night out.Failing that join some clubs or something, dancing lessons or something whatever your into, don`t just sit at home feeling down and depressed as at the end of the day life is what you make it and nobody can help you except yourself, you have to change things and make your life more full and enjoyable nobody will do it for you.Goodluck and chin up,xx

I'm sorry you feel like that...perhaps you could join a club or something, maybe you could make or buy a cake & go & visit one of your nieghbours (perhaps one that doesn't get out too much because of illness or old age) & say you've brought the cake if they've got the coffee...I'm sure they'd love that, you'd feel better about your self worth & you'd be on your way to having a new friend...
Good luck & I hope you find happiness real soon.

Monica, thats me girlfriend said the God person scares her. Pay no attention. Even though life may seem low, to coin a phrase, Always look on the bright side of life. Check out Tufffish on UTube, a man who likes to gamble. Things could be worse. If things are that bad try Samaritans.co.uk. Good luck and deep breaths.

Awwww, you will find somebody soon enough. May your love shine like a beacon and enjoy a hug and cuddle from people and dont just jump into bed after one night. Treat others as you would like to be treated and you'll find people will come to you. Good luck and be yourself

FIrst of all your not alone. If you'd take God into your heart and see that he's always with you. Don't feel sad just call on God and have him help you.
