What are some of the reasons?

Why do people get audited from the IRS? Was just wondering why that happens to people who do do their taxes? Im not lookin for no insults or nothing just answers.

The IRS has a computer program which flags inconsistent deductions for both businesses and personal taxpayers. They will also audit you if you do not declare income they know about. They get copies of all 1099's and W-2's issued.
