i was wondering, are there people out there 18 and above in relationships for at least 6 months that are not engaged in sexual activity and are waiting for marriage?

Seriously, yes. It does still happen. Not often, but it does.
As a matter of fact, I totally respect those who decide to wait 'till marriage; especially 'cause of all of the bad things that can happen when you start bringing sex into the equation...

I feel like if both people are still virgins - its easy for them not to have sex and still be in a long term relationship.
If one person has had sex before - they want to have it again. Chances are, they'll wait for a while (depending on how deeply they feel for their significant other) - but there comes a point when they're just going to want it bad enough to demand it or move on to a new relationship.
If both people have had sex before - the time it takes for them to have sex (generally) drops dramatically. Its because they both know how good it is and they want to have it as soon as possible. I would say that these relationships go 1 month without having sex. (max).
Again - this is all just general - there are always exceptions to the rule. Religious beliefs and circumstances also play a big factor.

im sure there are BUT if they have come out of a relationship and are older then they will probably be having sex and still waiting to get married
