Hi Everyone,
About 3 years ago I dated a very nice man named Jason. He and I dated for about a year and he got drunk one night and cheated on me. We separted ways and didn't speak to eachother for over 2 years. These past 2 months we have been going out for dinner and drinks every Friday and we talk almost everyday. I just am confused, should I ask him upfront if we're back together or if this is a fling?
I don't want to scare him off, but him and I have both changed so much (for the better) that I think we're totally different people.

Take it slow. Ask yourself if you have some unresolved emotions about him cheating on you. If you can get passed that and you really feel that the two of you are different people now, you wont have to ask him.Talk about what you will and will not accept from any man. Cheating is a form of disrespect and no woman or man deserves that. Instead of worrying about the two of you being back together, you need to try and figure out if you want him and if he is sincere. Sounds like you really like/love him, but dont get yourself all wrapped up in him just to get hurt again. Good luck!

Don't ask him anything, just keep dating and having fun, and let the chips fall where they may, this way it is no pressure on either of you. Remember friends make the best mates. Happy New Year!

Ask him what he thinks the relationship looks like. If you say that he changed for the better, and you all actually do start dating again, it might work out better this time!
