I thought the Judeo Christian God was pro-life, why so much death?

I'm confused, should I be on my knees worshipping such a God?

Well dont forget that death to God isnt the same as death to us. He brings people Home..(or casts them away in some cases) WE however are not permitted to end life without just cause.

The answer to this question is in Genesis Chapter 6 and if you read it and think about what it says in this regard you will see that God didn't want to do this to people of that time. It hurt him at his heart, but he had no choice. The main reason that it happened was because of Satan's angels forsaking their positions in the spirit realm and materializing and taking good looking daughters of men and having offspring that were Giants and bullies, (see Jude 6) corrupting the human race. Not only did Noah build an ark, but preached for many years to turn peoples hearts around to join him in the ark. Besides building an ark, Noah sounded a warning and served God faithfully as “a preacher of righteousness.” But the people “took no note until the flood came and swept them all away.”—2 Peter 2:5; Matthew 24:38, 39.
This is also true today, people are taking no note as to the time we are living in. About the children? who do you think is responsible for their chance of living or dieing (everlasting life?) then and now? God or the parents?

- The flood came because evil was prevailing & on the rise, so He sent a cleansing rain till the evil smirk was transformed into dogypaddling, Have you ever noticed even barky dogs don't bark when dogypaddling, they don't even whine or wimper till just before the bloop, bloop, bloop .... It makes me happy, happy, to know that in round 1 all evil was sent to doggie heaven, right now, we are in round 2, God used water in the last round, this time He say's He's going to use a lake of Fire, But also where the worm (soul ) dieth not. God is prolife, He always provides 1 way out . Last time, He used Noah's Ark, In this current round, God is using His Son Jesus The Christ ( Savior ). Confusion rapidly & boldly comes (with out knocking) to future lake of fire doggie paddlers for the following reasions ; They have never recieved their spiritual birth from Jesus Christ, They have never matured in the written word of God ( Holy Bible ), Being easyly pacified with all the Worlds' false sense's of securities till there's no confusion what so ever, I need to doggie paddle over there, No, there, no, there, no, there, no, there, Ect, Ect. So, should you be on your knees worshipping such a God. In His word, it tells us that ; the soul that sins shall surly die. Scripture say's there's only 1 way to the Father & thats through His Son. Should you worship such a God ? The devil would tell you, NO ! ! !

Genesis 6:5 - The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.

We aren't talking innocent children here... we are talking about people who were, to their core, evil.

Plus, the fact that Christians are pro-life is not because we don't believe that unborn children will never die. We believe that it is God's choice whether to bring those children to heaven with Him, not a persons choice to murder a baby for their own convenience.

Yes, you and all of us should get down on our knee's and beg for Forgiveness. In the days of Noah, God sent the flood to cleanse the earth. All people were so sinfull and had fallen away from any thing relative to God. So to cleanse the earth, He sent the flood. The small innocent children paid for the sins of their Fathers. It goes into the third and the fourth Generations . The children paid for the sins and it continues on to this very day. You just don't get it, do you ??

What will happen to young children at Armageddon?

The Bible does not directly answer that question, and we are not the judges. However, the Bible does show that God views the young children of true Christians as “holy.” It also reveals that in times past when God destroyed the wicked he likewise destroyed their little ones. (Num. 16:27, 32; Ezek. 9:6) God does not want anyone to be destroyed, so he is having a warning sounded now to benefit both parents and children. Would it not be wise for parents to pursue a course that would result in their children being looked on with favor by God both now and at Armageddon?

The wickedness and violence obliged God to act. Only Noah and his family showed faith and obedience. Out of mercy to them, and to preserve justice and righteousness on earth, Jehovah God “did not hold back from punishing an ancient world, of ungodly people.” The result was that “the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water.

Noah and his family survived. Why? First, they did not go along with that “world of ungodly people” in their unrighteousness. They did not become so engrossed with the ordinary things of life, eating, drinking, and marrying, that they became insensitive to God’s will or deaf to his warning.

These eight persons survived because of their faith and their works stemming from faith. Jesus and his apostles referred to that world destruction as prophetic of what faces people in this “time of the end.” So it is clear that we too must disassociate ourselves from a world headed for destruction, just as Noah and his family did. We too must live in harmony with God’s will. We cannot simply be guided by our own standards and expect to survive. God’s Word says: “There exists a way that is upright before a man, but the ways of death are the end of it afterward.”

At the time of the earth-wide Flood in Noah’s day. God brought to an end the entire world of people who were alienated from him. Those who died included men and women whom the Creator judged as ungodly. It also included their children, since those children were being raised to become what their parents were, ungodly.

God gets to "play god" with human lives; that is his job (He IS god, by definition).

You cannot kill, because you are NOT God. Therefore it is wrong for you to "play god" with the lives of unborn children, because it is NOT your job (You are NOT god, after all).

Geezze! Why do I have to keep explaining the same simple concept to thick headed numbskulls on Y!A who keep parroting the same stupid question over and over?

Don't you atheists ever have an original thought?

It was a local flood to kill the giants.

Not a global flood, records of China and Egypt prove this.
