Blasphemy against the Spirit
- Therefore, I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven (Matthew 12:31)
Is the sin of attributing to Satan
- But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "This man drives out demons only by the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons." (Matthew 12:24)
What is the work of the Spirit of God
- But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. (Matthew 12:28)
We really do not know why Jesus said this sin is unforgivable.
With love in Christ.

Yes. That is how I understand it when I read the Bible. The Pharisees were accusing Jesus of delivering people from sickness or demons by the power of Beelzebub.
They did see a spiritual power heal, and accused that spiritual power (Holy Spirit) of evil.
Jesus said blaspemy of the Holy Spirit isn't forgiven in this age or in the age to come. So? I believe there are immediate conscequences. I don't think someone can lose salvation over it. Born again Christians will get serious discipline, that may last for quite a while.

Yes, I think it's when someone says the spirit in another is not of God. This should make some people be more careful in condemning others, since if you condemn someone you are saying the spirit is not in them. So it's a warning not to condemn
Jesus had trouble with the religious leaders (pharisees) who claimed his spirit was of satan and so they risked this sin
In other words, if you see someone talking about God be careful before you condemn them
I am amazed how much I see religious people condemning others who do not agree with them, they should be careful because being merciful will never mean you commit this sin, but judging another means you have to face the fact you are condemning another's spirit, and you should be sure before you be so bold as so say this. It is a warning not to condemn in my view, which so many religious people do without any worry. Ordinary people need not worry they have done this if they are merciful to others. That is why Jesus did not condemn outcasts such as publicans are prostitutes for he was aware of the spirit within. Be careful who you condemn!!!
