It has been proven that the fastest way is not to put it in hot water( dangerous bacteria formation) , or in the oven, but to put it in a pot of cold water with cold water dripping ever so slightly so as to start a molecular reaction thus defrosting the object the fastest way possible.

take it out of the package. Put it in a zip lock bag. Make sure it is closed. Fill your sink with warm not hot and not cold water but warm water and let the chicken float in the water.

You could do cold water yes. Also if time, put in fridge overnight, it'll thaw. If doing cold water, change the cold water often, you want to keep if fresh, so not to spoil.

it will thaw fastest if put under tepid (room temperature) water.
For one chicken leg...about 15 to 30 minutes. You could also cook it while frozen. Bake it in the oven, fry it, or boil it. Will take a bit longer since its frozen...but totally doable

IF you let it set in Luke warm water it should defrost super fast ( about 20 minutes or so ) just be sure the waters not too warm you don't want it to effect the chicken.

Thats superb, its very almost impossible to defrost a chicken interior the microwave without it cooking a number of it (i know what you propose a number of it is going white and it smells humorous once you're taking it out). as long as you cooked it mind-blowing afterwards its superb. make beneficial that's not crimson on the interior.

Put it into a tightly closed plastic bag and submerge it in 'room temperature water' for about 10 minutes.
