What could've saved your last failed relationship?

If something could've been different that would prevent the split between you two, what would that something be?

I would have tried to realize that everything doesn't have to be perfect and that it's okay to just see what unfolds. That not every look or jesture MEANS something or has to be decoded to see what they " really meant" Also would do my best to be the "me" before the "us" since that's what made him fall for me in the first place.

Im not for sure what type of relationship the couple had but in a relationship things that I think would work would be:

1. Trust in one another
2. Space and freedom
3. Communication
4. Spending quality time together
5. Love ( Bedroom Passion)

I think in order to have keep a long time and descent relationship the couple should've tried some of these and all failed then well just maybe it wasn't meant to be.Not to get all religious or anything ,but God knows what's best for everyone and maybe God felt like it was time that he/she moved on and recieve what's best for him/her. Being in love.

I think that the lack of a deep, intense emotional bond (after 1+ yr of knowing each other and dating)... made us less committed to each other, and to the relationship.

I know on my end, I was less tolerant of him and his behaviours and when the relationship ended I was more relieved than hurt.

He would have given up excessive alcohol and attended counseling with me. I would have mothered him less.
