I'm baking cookies for my friends for all that they have done for me. I need a new cookie recipe(s) for either chocolate chip cookies or regular sugar cookies. I'm looking forward to hearing your answers. Thanx for all of your help guys!

I used extra-strong vanilla and used about ½ t extra….and added 2 tablespoons of milk, since the batter was really thick….I also melted the butter before I mixed it with the sugars…and I put larger scoops on the baking sheet than it said to….I made these and brought them to work and everyone was freaking out over them!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add pudding mix, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips.

3. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Best Ever Big Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter - melted
2 cups brown sugar - packed
1 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
3 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325 F. Grease cookie sheets. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in one bowl. In another bowl, cream melted butter and both the brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until the consistency is light and creamy. Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt from the other bowl until blended. Stir in the chocolate chunks by hand. Drop 1/4 cup of dough onto the prepared cookie sheets. The cookies should be about 3 inches apart as they spread a bit. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes at 325F or until golden brown. Let sit on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely. Enjoy!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Cream 3/4 cup sugar and 1 stick oleo. Add 1 egg and beat. Sift 1 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp soda, 1/4 tsp salt, and add to creamed mixture. Add 1 tsp vanilla. Make into balls size of a walnut and roll in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees until light tan. Do not over bake.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cups butter
1 1/2 brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp salt
12 oz chocolate morsels
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda

Beat butter, sugars, vanilla, with mixer until creamy. Add eggs; beat till fluffy. Add flour mixture gradually. Add chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

Serves 6 dozen:
1 cup oatmeal
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 cup nuts
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

German Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies

1 package German Chocolate cake mix
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs, slighty beaten
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup nuts

In large bowl, combine all ingredients. Blend well by hand. Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart on ungreased sheets. Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool 1 minute.

Sour Cream Cookies

1/4 cup oleo
1 egg
1 cup sugar - stir in oleo
1 carton sour cream (8oz)
Mix above ingredients and Add:
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool on rack.

I always use the one on the chocolate chip package or mccormicks vanilla box.

Try this one for cream cheese sugar cookies. They're like regular sugar cookies... but with more flavor. SOOOOO good!
