Yeah listeners might be idiots but it is the DJs and promotion departments responsibility to make sure tehy're all safe. I find that pretty stupid too.

It's suprising how many people don't know you can die from water intoxication. The DJ's knew this, if they didn't before, a caller informed them. And they laughed it off. At that point, they should have informed the contestants. They exhibited depraved indifference in my opinion. I hope the winner gave the kids who's mom died the XBox.

They fostered a dangerous practice - they are responsible if people got hurt doing it. The woman is too, but there is some expectation that if you "go on a a ride" at a carnival or participate in some other public event put on by a business, that it is safe.

Because they were notified more than once that it was deadly and just laughed it off. Now 3 kids have no mother. 28 was way to young when she was probably trying to win the nintendo for her kids. Look what she got out of the deal?

Their employers use this ploy as an act of good faith. Someone is at fault. Forget the obvious. People cannot be accountable for their own actions. have a great year.

They should've been educated enough to know that they were posing a fatal threat. It's not the responsibility of the listener.
