Wow. purely finding at a majority of those solutions, i'm able to experience the dislike. frightening. i think that the worst faith is...each and every physique of them. No, i'm not Atheist (and that i'm not gonna point out my concept) i think that each and each faith is great, yet turns truly gruesome as quickly as fanaticism comes into the image. ok, i will supply some examples. Islam. that's between the main rational and common faith. yet while fanaticism enters..we've, females and gents, Osama bin encumbered, 9/eleven, suicide bombers, The Taliban. Christianity. the main important faith interior the international immediately. yet interior the 17, 18th century, they hung, burnt, tortured and murdered hundreds of harmless human beings as witches. each and every faith has that's idiots, who interpret it interior the incorrect way. What concerns is that no God is smaller than the different. you may call him God, Allah, Ram, Buddha, notwithstanding interior the international that's recommended to, yet there is somebody up there. purely kill the dislike human beings. Kill the dislike, and much much less will die popular. assorted wars may be prevented. Peace, everybody, peace.

I would say Buddhism is the most peaceful religion of all, yes. The three "great Monotheisms", Judaism, Xianity, and Islam, all claim to be religions of peace, but they all have, throughout their history (some more so than others...... we'll not get into specifics..... ), been , in practice, grossly contradictory to that phrase "religion of peace". If the world were largely Buddhist, yes, you'd probably find far less atrocity. The three I mentioned above (but I feel specifically Xianity and Islam) bear , to say the very LEAST about it, something in them that leads their followers prone to become .... shall we say...... "martial" and angry, vengeful , and prone to ... force their beliefs down others' throats.

Buddhism isn't really a religion, per se... it's more of a philosophy. The Buddha plunked down and came up with logical answers to questions he had and passed those answers down to us. His main goal: How to end the suffering of all sentient beings. He found the answers and then there were teachings...
Whatever helps you end your sufferings and develop altruism in your mind then that is what's best for you.

hmmm, if I had to choose a religion that was the least horrible religion ever, I think it would probably have to be (outside of Christianity) Paganism or Wicca- becuase it seems to me to be the most tolerant.

There is no one best religion for everyone and there's a few I think are peaceful and which I admire. I'm going to go with my favorite though, Ásatrú.

Buddhism never committed anything, I would go with it
Note: Buddhism is a non-theistic religion, but also a philosophy

Buddhism can easily be a philosophy. I'm an atheist and I can practice Buddhism without compromising my (lack of) belief.

Since you want a list of religions that have not committed wars, killings, rapes, abuses, etc. there is only one. That is the Christian religion. People have committed such deeds trying to use the Christian faith to to commit them. But the Christian faith has never backed or supported such acts.

*shrug* No best, no worst, religion itself isn't at fault in any of it, it's the misinterpretations of "god's word" by faulty humans. What works for me might not work for you, I think God (whatever he/she/it is) is smart enough to know that we aren't going to be able to agree on it.
