There is an over the counter sleep aid known as "Melatonin" that can actually help keep you youthful, and it also gives you more vivid dreams in my experience. From what I understand, this supplement is pretty harmless, especially when compared to some of the sleep drugs that your doctor may prescribe you. You can find melatonin in a health food store, or possibly somewhere like GNC, or a vitamin shoppe. It is innexpensive, but I do recommend you speak with someone who is intelligent and knowledgeable about Melatonin, possibly a Doctor.

From what I understand, Melatonin is very safe to consume, but I would get other oppinions about it before you start taking it.

You have tons a night - you just don't remember them! Practise keeping a dream journal next to your bed and writing them down when you wake up.

A visualisation exercise is to imagine a gorgeous temple in a desert - imagine the clothes, the servants that greet you, take you to lie down. Tell them about what you want to dream about, and go to sleep with this thought in your head.

I love to dream, my dreams can be really weird. I sometimes eat a large chunk of cheese just before bed just to make myself dream. I find that spicy foods tend to give me worrying dreams though.
Try a different food each night before bed, that might help.
Sweet dreams!

Some say eating cheese before bed makes you dream, don't know if its true. Think deeply about the days events before sleep, but it might keep you awake, and give you a restless night.

There are several crystals that will help you to dream. placing a couple of lapis lazuli crystals on either side of your pillow will bring vivid dreams to the fore.

Also consider amethyst crystals under your pillow - these will bring soothing dreams.

I found that if you think before you go to bed then the dream that you have will base itself around what you were thinking before you went to bed.
