Different batteries can be recycled at different places... your Cell phone batteries can be taken to the phone stores and your acid core or alkaline can be taken to the landfill recycle center. Most landfills have a separate drop off for things like batteries and paint etc. Also check in the yellow pages you may find a place that buys them by weight or type.

Check with your town. Here in Connecticut, there are transfer stations under the jurisdiction of the Dept of Public Works. Not a curbside item at this point.

It relies upon the place you reside yet my community council will settle for them on the community land fill website for recycling alongside with vehicle batteries and mild-weight bulbs. you are able to desire to verify your community website and discover out what they settle for, good success!

You can bring them to a place like Autozone, or Advance Auto Parts, and they will take care of them for you.
