I really like this girl at work, the problem is that we're in seperate departments and mine does not deal with her's at all. My colleagues do not know her either.
How could I possibly get her to notice me or try to get to know her(seeing we're in seperate departments)?
What signs would she give in passing(when we pass each other in a corridor/at luch) if she had an interest?
Any advice appreciated....

We have made eye contact. Today when I looked at her as she passed my desk she ducked her head as she walked past-a good sign?
Also I let her get in the lift before me(was quite packed) and she thanked me - again she ducked her head as she got in. She then smiled at me as the door shut.A good sign?

if you don't want to talk to her straight away try making eye contact and hold it for as long as you can and smile - have a little look back when she's passed to see if she's done the same & if she has give her a huge smile. once she's seen you smiling a few times it will be easier for you to say 'hello', you could build up to complimenting her then asking her if she wants a coffee.
if she doesn't look at you she might not have noticed you (mind elsewhere) - persist!!!!
good luck x
eta. if it's ducking her head in a look at the floor slightly embarrassed that you've noticed her way definately a good sign but means she's a bit shy about it all (in my opinion). keep going with it

This is something I cannot stress enough: Women love men to be interested in them. Even if they're married with three lovers on the side. Even if they have absolutely no romantic interest in you whatsoever. It's still very very flattering to have someone show an interest.
So basically: be bold. Stop her in the corridor, sit next to her at lunch. Get her email address or her phone number. Ask her out for a coffee. If she says no, don't persue it, but chances are she'll say yes.
As for signs if she likes you - if she grins at you in passing, giggles with her friends when you're around, blushes. But if she doesn't, it doesn't mean she doesn't like you. She might not have noticed you... but if she goes for a coffee with you and likes you something more might develop.
Good luck with the girl, I hope this helps!

What about lunchbreaks? Do you know when her's is as if so, you could always just 'happen' to be going in or out at the same time and hold the door open etc and smile. Give her a wink the next time you see her. Good luck!

Next time you pass her in the corridor make sure you say 'hello' and give her a big smile. She will notice you! Keep doing it until you have a chance to start a conversation - something will turn up.. Good luck.

Do you share the same canteen? If so, can you sit at here table for coffee some time? Or offer to buy her coffee some day. Just a pleasant smile will give her the feeling that you are attracted to her, keep catching her eye and smile with your eyes! Good luck!

If you really like this girl. Just walk up to her and tell her that you are interested in her. You have a 50/50 chance. Either she will return the compliment or she will thank you for your compliment but tell you she has a boy friend that she loves.
What have you got to loose? You win the love of your life or you have paid a compliment to a lady who will remember you when she gets dumped by her boyfriend. A win win situation as I see it.

Walk up to her and offer her a cup of coffee. Have a nice chat and if all goes well, ask for her number. It is so irritating when you guys expect us to know if you are interested. Just walk up to her and chat.
