You have to look away. So that it won't be stuck in your memory.

Admiring someone is having a high regard for that person. Respect and think highly of.
Lust is a hunger or a desire for or an uncontrolable ache or desire.
A person in a swimsuite would account for lust, since you know nothing of them in short cannot respect them.
However just because I love to look at the mountains in the morning light doesn't mean I lust for them. I respect what God has made. I guess you could say the same when it comes to a beautiful woman.....as long as your eyes are above her chest (LOL)

But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew 5:28).
Admiring is a passing glance, lust is fixing your eyes, entertaining and feeding the adulterous thoughts.

The amount of drool produced. There's a difference between looking and someone and thinking, "Wow, he/she's cute," and looking at someone and being unable to form a complete sentence because all the blood is rushing away from your brain and elsewhere.

if you admire how someone looks that is ok, but wanting to act on it, as in have sex (wanting to ask them out with no hidden motives is fine) that is when it becomes lust. I hope this helps. <><

Recognizing beauty is one thing, wanting to possess it or have it (lust) is another. Sexual fantasy is one way of mentally trying to have it - having you way in imagination - so such things are considered lustful.

You have to wash your brain out with soap.
This is why we should be like the Muslims and cover women with black sheets and beat them
if they show some ankle--like the taliban does...
middle easterners always said things like that,
guess who wrote the bible AND the koran?
...middle eastern, sexist men.
Lust is normal, if you didn't have it, you should be worried, because you wouldn't want to ever have sex,
and therefore, would never "be fruitful and multiply"
you can not have one without the other.
sorry idiot christians, you really should think these things through.

I suppose that it is a matter of degree. But if you look too long, then you are going to start to have fantasies about her that you probably shouldn't.
