GM, just wait and see. Any new Toyota is a piece of S***. Sure, the older GMs sucked, but any of there new models are far superior to any competiton. By the end of '07, I am willing to bet Saturn makes the Aura the best selling model. (Do you research, and you will see why). GM swept awards for best car and truck of '07 ('07 models), while Toyota had the most recalls in '06. If you go to the inside line you will find that domestics (mainly GM)can compete, and beat the imports.

Well, I have both a Toyota truck and a Gm, and the Toyota has NEVER given me any trouble. Can't say the same about the GM. That's just my story, though. lol

Obviously Toyota.

"GM car sales fell 8.7% in the past year while Toyota's US sales rose almost 13%."

"GM has closed 12 plants and cut more than 34,000 jobs in a bid to cut $9bn (£4.6bn) from operating costs in 2006 after a $10.6bn net loss in 2005."

"Toyota said it expected to raise global car production by 4% to 9.42 million vehicles next year."

"GM plans to build 9.181 million vehicles this year. However, analysts do not expect the firm to increase production significantly in 2007. "

"GM has plans to cut 30,000 jobs and close several factories by 2008."

"Toyota, meanwhile, has announced plans to build six more factories around the world by the end of the decade."

Toyota of course. The GM franchise cuts too many corners.

And re-branding Daewoo as Chevrolette? What the hell is all that about??

Toyota will, thats their goal, and the quality is starting to show in their cars, it's going down hill because they are focusing too much on quantity instead of quality.

Toyota - because they get way better gas mileage, they look nice, they're luxurious, and their engineers put them together in a way that makes it easier than normal to replace almost anything (especially under the hood). overall, they didn't have the idea that "The sooner peoples' cars break down, the sooner they'll buy another car from us" (unlike GM).
