too much of an age difference for a teenager? im 16 and the boy i want to date...who likes me too...just turned 20. Hes all for the relationship...but it means keeping it from my parents and idk what to do.

At your age yes 4 years is A LOT. But say you're 20 and he's 24 Tha't fine. Don't take this as an insult but you're very young, impressionable and emotionally immature (probably). You're body is mature yes but you havn't quite become who you're going to become yet. If you have to go out of your way to hide a relationship then I'd suggest maybe thinking again about it. Unless your parents are you super anal.

If he touches you in a sexual way then he can go to jail because you are a minor, try meeting boys your own age, when everyone get's older we all change and become more mature, our interest change, this will inevitably end your relationship so why waste these precious years being involved in it

I think that you should tell your parents about him. If you lets your parents know how much you really love him and how much he cares for you too i think that they will understand. Also, talk to your mother about this first before going to your father. Mother'sare easier to to to with problem than father are.Good Luck.

tell your parents, im sure they will be ok with it if they met him. when i was 16 my bf was 19 and my parents were ok with it, but i didnt hide it from them
