Has your IDE channel changed from ultra DMA mode,
to the super slow PIO mode?

Lots of things will change it, just delete, and reboot, then
make it ultral DMA

Mine used to take about 90 minutes. Then I did a system restore to get it like when I first bought it. I installed dvd shrink again, and now it only takes 30 minutes.

proably the disc is a dual layer disk 4.7gb vs 9.5 gb

your computers memory is probably more used up then when it used to be
