WHATEVER!!! 20 is NOT old. I know a lot of people who graduate from college and go back home to live with their parents. I mean, they just graduated and they don't have a job of their own yet. So of course it's only natural to go back home, find a good job (the reason you went to college in the first place), get started, earn money, AND THEN move out. Because NOW, you HAVE the money to live on your own. Right??
Worry about that kinda stuff when you're in your 30s or 40s.

Depends on the family dynamics. In some cultures, children, especially female children, live with their parents and contribute to the family during their adult working lives until they get married.
Especially in American society, I think it matters more if you're just mooching off your parents and having to follow the same rules you did when you fifteen... or if you're "renting" space from them, trying to be an adult and making a contribution (whether in rent money or chores) to the household, respecting the house rules but generally living your own life.

As an entire time student, no situation, till you're majoring in partying. yet do your honest proportion of backyard artwork, upkeep, laundry, errands, cleansing, cooking, and so on, as your learn enable. After graduation, talk on your friends. i might like it if my daughter stayed a year or 2 to maintain money and he or she often times helped out with nutrition, utilities and chores while i'm in my 50's. My 40 something year previous unemployed brother stayed with me for a year till he got here across artwork. His fee became redoing a washing room, some tile artwork, and a few different issues. besides the actuality that he made out on the deal in nutrition, shelter, cable, internet, and so on; as long as he did something here and there, i did no longer thoughts too lots, (different than while he stayed up till 4 interior the morning making noise)

your friends are just jelous as they do not have the freedom like you do. What i mean by freedom is not paying rent, house bills, etc and if your parents make you pay something to help out, it is not nearly as much as what your friends are paying. I moved out of my parents house when i was 29 so there is nothing wrong with it...it helped me save up a lot of money.

Absolutly not. Your friends might be jealous that you have a good enough relationship which allows you to stay at home. Hopefully you are working or going to school and/or saving money. This is the best time to do it.

I don't think it is too old if you are going to school or don't really have the resources to move out. I think when you are ready you will make your own way out. If it works for you and your parents I wouldn't care what other people thought.

The boys are 21 & 23 and as far as we can see they have no desire to move out..both are working and have girlfriends, they just prefer staying here for now. And if their friends say anything it's to the positive...like wishing they were them

I don't believe that is wrong, as long as you are paying for your Spence's that's all right, my sister left the house at 26 when she finally got marry, but in this case we all want her to leave the house because she never help with anything. so if you are like my sis,, come one move on and do something with your life, but if you are helping you parents then, all right for you keep on helping them.
