Wow...you figured us out! We Christians have a master scheme to wipe out the Jews. Behind all those silly words of love and grace and charity, Jesus really wanted to kill all his people. You've found the light, my friend. Good call.

Do I detect bias in your post? There are OT reasons that indicate that Jesus was and still is the messiah. There is nothing anti-Semitic about true-Christianity. Yes, the Jews did hand Jesus over to be executed, that is fact, and not bigoted to mention.
Now, unfortunately, we were a part of the crusades. But why we were a part is rarely told. Apparently, there were some Jews who believed that Christ had returned, and they crowned an anti-Christ. That set off the Christians. That was considered blasphemy and at least as offensive as offering a sow on a Jewish altar (which sent the Maccabees into action). So it was all a big misunderstanding, and people to this day are misinformed about that time period.

You're an idiot, why would we pretend to support the Jews, and not all of us are anti-semitic, most us aren't. By the way, with more than 2 billion Christians, it's possible that Jesus was the messiah. Are you Anti-Christian or something?

I don't know. Xtianity isn't specifically antisemitic though (which is the hatred of Jews, not semitic peoples. check the dictionary) it's anti-anything-besides-Xtianity. They invest in a very sound "us against them" philosophy.
And Messianics aren't Jews, they're Xtian.
Anonymous girl, that's a load of bull and you know it. The Muslims were in charge of Jerusalem at this time, not the Jews--if it was a Jewish offense, why would they go after Jerusalem since they didn't control it? Why maim torture and kill millions of Muslims? It's a known historical fact that the Crusades started because the Xtians wanted to "liberate the Holy Land"
And there are tons of reasons in the Torah we don't believe J*sus is a messiah. For one, where is our temple? Why is there still destruction? Why, if J*sus was the messiah, did he die before fulfilling ANY of these prophecies? Sorry. Next time, maybe.

We don't believe Jesus was the Messiah, no, it's obvious (to we Jews at least) that he was not; nothing that was supposed to happen after the coming of the Messiah happened after this man's death. In fact the world only continued to get more and more bloody and violent.
However, the first Christians, including Jesus (who was not himself a Christian , as there WAS no such thing in his time), were all devout Jews. The "split" between Judaism and Christianity didn't really occur until long after the man upon whom the "Christ" mythology was based had died.
A Jew named Saul, from Tarsus in modern day Turkey near Syria, (known to Xians as Saint Paul), spread the "word of Christ" to the Gentiles of Asia Minor (modern day western Turkey) and Greece, and even into southern Italy. They made it very very similar to the many "Mystery" religions which those people (the pagan Greeks and Italians) of the time already followed. (For example, a deity gives birth to a "son" with a mortal woman, and then has to undergo an untimely physical death in accordance with the seasonal changes , and the initiates have to be baptized into the "secret rites" in order to be able to gain the prospect of life after death).

>>Why do christians pretend to support Jews when christianity in of itself is anti semitic?<<
Simply for the sake of argument, let's assume you are correct about Christianity being anti-Semitic (it's not, of course). Why would Christians support Jews? Because Jews aren't the ones flying planes into our buildings.

Jesus was Jewish and was the Hebrew Messiah of Jewish Prophets Isaiah, Daniel and Ezekial. Not to mention the Messiah spoken about in Psalms and pretty much the rest of the Old Testement.

You do realize that Jesus is the focal point of the Christian religion, yet he was Jewish until the day he died, right? Christians don't deny that, and I find it hard to believe that they can worship a Jew and still be anti-semetic.

Christianity and Islam as well were born in Semitic people. Neither is ant-semitic. All three follow the same traditions. They use different words and have slightly different versions of scripture, but they are all the decendants of Semitic people. To be ant-semitic, they would have to be anti-themselves.
