It's released on Jan 30th but I can't see on their website when they will include it as standard

The program still has too many bugs. Do not mess with it right now if you don't have to. I have worked on demos of Vista, no bueno!

Dell will start shipping vista as soon as it is properly released (30th Jan in the UK).
You should also take a look at the site as from memory there is an option on the OS section which says you can purchase Vista now and they will send it out when it is officially available (they preload you with XP in the meantime). If you take this option though, you will have to do the installation of the new OS (or the upgrade if you prefer) yourself.
