Hangovers are caused by toxins in the alcohol, and (mostly) by the alcohol dehydrating the cells of your body. Many concoctions have been devised to cure hangovers, but they all are ineffective. The best thing you can do is to take a couple of ibuprofin, drink a lot of fluids, and exercise vigoroulsy, even if you don't feel like it. The fluids will help rehydrate your cells, and the exercise will help the fluids get to the cells quickly. Otherwise, you'll likely feel like crap for an entire day...

Water...

It is best to drink water while you drink alcohol, but I know sometimes it's hard to remember to...Your body is dehydrated and that is basically the cause of a hangover, you need to rehydrate yourself.

Also, Vitamin B is supposed to be really good too. I heard take one before going to bed, and another one when you wake up in the morning.

Hangovers are typically caused by dehydration. Drink as much liquid as possible, then force yourself to drink a little more. Plain water or hydration drinks (sport drinks) seem to work the best.

A Bloody Mary is a drink made just for that. It's cool because it is one of the few drinks that is socially acceptable to drink in the morning. Every brunch I have ever been to has served them.

2 oz. Vodka
4 oz Tomato juice
1 Squeezed lime
pepper
hot sauce
Ice

I add a little bit of horse radish to mine.

I always used to trust the greasy Macca's brekky. Anything greasy will help to get your guts going the right way again. As for the headache, lots of aspirin, ibuprofen or whatever you prefer. I could suggest other things but as they tend to be frowned on in general society I'll leave it at that.

Lots of water to rehydrate your system. One of those sports drinks like Lucozade will help settle your stomach and provide minerals etc. And during the day eat lots of fresh fruit or fruit juice to get the vitamins.

Downing several pints of water before falling asleep immediately after a drinking session.

If you haven't done that, just sleep. All day.
