ok, I really like this guy, and he says he likes me, but when we started to get to the point when he would ask me out, he backs down and gets all shy. We were suppose to go to the movies last weekend, but he said he couldn't come last minute, and tomorrow we were suppose to go to a school basket ball game, but he said he has to go to his mom's. I'm so confused, what do I do? btw..he's said that he love's me more than once and i said it back..
Is he a lying jerk or is he just seriously shy?

Even those this guy knows how you feel about him - men still fear rejection. Next time, when that point arrives and he backs off ask him if he'd like to do something (movie, hang out, etc). Keep it simple. He may just be shy.

Well doll he could be shy or a jerk as you say its hard to tell with men but u have to sit him down and try to get to the root of whats going on because u need to know where u stand with him, good luck xx

Well girl, its hard to say exactly what his intentions are. So thats what you have to find out!
hmmm... maybe try a different approach and ask him to give you a call when hes not busy. This way you will know if he actually does want to go out with you and what not. If he doesnt call with time for you after over a week or up to two weeks, I would assume he doesnt want to.
Maybe try that and see what happens... best wishes!

hmm sounds more like a lying shy jerk to me....this kinda happened to me so yea.....cuz it's not THAT hard to say i love you he might just be trying to get to you, by being sweet, and then it might end up w/ you having ur heart broken....but i'd really have to know the person

Probably seriously shy. If this continues too long, you may not be able to deal with it. Let him know that.

well age can play a factor in this. some guys are still virgins in their teen age years and maybe the thought of being alone with you may cause him a complex lol.???

It is similar to a guy who is in love with you and he is trying to tell you it just takes him a while. You just have to lead him towards it and make him feel comfortable about it.

Maybe he is just scared to ask you out because he likes you so much. Why not ask him out? I wish girls would do that more.
