France would surrender in 5 minutes.
Why?.........because the last group of brave Frenchmen served in WW1 and are almost all dead now.

The british army cadets could beat the French. The only thing in france considered quality military is the French Foreign Legion and the only reason is most are foreign.
Britain can still hold its own against any nation even though the government makes stupid cuts to the budget when they should be increasing it massively. Any brit who thinks we spend to much on our military doesnt deserve the name British because what would they be saying if someone decided to invade?

I don't know how fearsome the fighting would be. The British would want to stop for tea every fifteen minutes. And the French would be ready to surrender to a Girl Scout trying to sell the some cookies.

I'm Canadian of English decent, but I think the French Resistence & Underground fought as bravely as did any of the other combatants. And if LaFayette had stayed home during the American Rebellion, who knows what would have happened. I think Americans should think of that before they start knocking the French.
