Well, if you respect your best friend and value your friendship, you shouldn't do anything because it will just make a bigger problem. I know you really like this guy, but the fact is he's taken - don't think about him and search for someone who's available. Hope this helps.

Ok, well it seems to me that he is pulling both of yall along on a string. They have been together for a month and he is already telling her that he loves her, and she does the same. Sounds to me like this guy is trying to get as much as he can as fast as he can. And if he really loved your friend he wouldnt be telling you that he loved you as well. You also have to think about your friend in this to. Do you really think that she will ever forgive you if you steal this guy away from her? Friends should always come first when it comes to relationships. That is something I can promise you would put a huge strain on your friendship with this chick. If she is happy with him, let her be happy. She had him first so just back off of the situation. And dont vie for his attention either, thats just going to make your friend mad at you. Your manipulating him to feel sorry for you even when nothing is really wrong, to make him pay less attention to your friend and more to you. And thats wrong . And if they break up dont jump at the first chance that you have to be with him, that just shows your friend even more that you were just waiting your turn. Friends dont date each others ex's, its a rule, learn it and live by it.

Stop and think before you do anything you will regret. Think about what is more important to you having this guy or your best friend. Because nine times out of ten you will lose your best friend even if she says she doesnt care. She could be testing your loyalty to your friendship. Remember the golden rule:Boys will come and go friends are forever.

This is the exact same problem I had, and I didnt know if he liked me either. But I waited, and they eventually broke up after almost two months. We talk a lot more and I love that we do. If you like him, and he tells you that he likes you. I would think it's true. He will probably end up breaking up with her. Your best friend will need you, but if she is really your friend, she will let you two go out. Thats what a good friend is.
Good Luck!!

I think that you should tell your best friend how you feel. Call the boy and ask him how he feels about you. If he says that he REALLY likes you then you guys should sit down and talk it out. On the other hand I don't think that you or your friend should go out with the guy if he likes both of you. Your best friend can find another boyfriend but she can't find another best friend!!!

Point blank if that truly is ur best friend then that guy should be off limits. Ask urslf these questions. Is he worth losing my best friend? If I was the girlfriend would I want my best friend to talk to my BF behind my back? If he is flirting with me and I am her best friend and I am willing to give in, who else is he flirting with that has already given in? If you can answer yes to any of these escpecially #1 then you are not her best friend and I say go for urs but remember whats goes around comes around. And just like he did it to ur friend he'll do it to u. And ask urslf 1 final question to urslf for me, What makes me any better than my friend that he wouldn't cheat on me for another one of our friends or any other feamle for that matter.

Don't go there...honestly...she may come out and say it is okay, but it never will be okay, and you will end up loosing a friend. Friends are more important than boys. Another good one will show up eventually :-)
