Don't worry about the money, just concentrate on finding her a good loving home that can give her the attention she deserves.

I appreciate that you are sacrificing your emotional attachment to this "cutest puppy" for the well being of your pom. It sounds like you love her very much!

Hopefully, you may recover most of what you spent. It doesn't hurt to ask!

If you contact the kennel or people you purchased her from, sometimes they have a waiting list of prospective buyers. While true they won't make the money they would have made, perhaps they can find a good home for her right now with folks that don't want to wait for a brand new puppy. They will certainly want her to have a good home! They may want a small commission for helping you place her, but maybe not. Also, she is of an age where the poopy puppy stage is about over and some prospective companions may appreciate the shortening of training time.

Poms make great companion pets. We found a home for one with a legally blind lady who had a perscription from her doctor to
buy a dog. She was able to have it in her "no dogs allowed" apartment because it was classified as a companion pet. They are doing so well together!

Go to petsincondos.org for some interesting ideas.

There must be a good reason for the price your pom commanded. You might run an advertisement similar to the one you answered to see what happens. Please take time to make sure your pom goes to a good, responsible home and is not going to be simply used for breeding. It will help if you advertise that she comes with her bed, kennel, toys, food, had shots, etc. Please don't sell her to someone with small children. They may hurt or frustrate her accidentally.

Whatever you decide, I can tell you have your babies best interests at heart. Good luck to both of you!

I would try to find a good home for her first. A person or family that has been looking for a dog, maybe a family with responsible children or an elderly person who wants a companion. Then I would offer them the dog at a price I thought they could afford. I would not give them the dog though even if they only pay $50.00 at least then you know they want the dog. If you think they will care for the dog but can't afford to pay a lot for the dog, just ask for a little. If you offer the dog to someone you know really wants one, but can not afford to pay alot for a dog, you will probably make someone really happy and the dog will be very appreciated. I know I got a chihuahua once that a byb had been breeding, and the dog had to be fixed after a pup got stuck in the birth canal. The breeder did not want the 1 1/2 year old dog anymore and gave it to me. I took the dog to make sure it was cared for, and took it to the vet. I did not want to keep another dog though. I found out the boy next to me had been wanting a dog and the single mother could not afford much. I told her if she would pay me for the vet visit they could have her. I got 50 for the vet visit and he got a dog. We still live next to them, and the boy still brings the dog by. I get told about vet visits and know the dog is well cared for. She will not leave the boys side, and he loves her so much. He mowed my lawn this summer for me, and saved all the money not for a toy, but to get his dog microchipped cause the mom could not afford that. I feel so good knowing I was able to bring them together just by offering the dog at a price I was sure they could afford. He is always saving money to buy her stuff; toys, beds, blankets, ect. They are so cute together.

Depends on the quality of the dog. Did she come with Pedigree papers? If not then maybe $50.00 to $100.00.

Without pedigree papers she is just a dog and nothing special. I guess most of us would say that she is only pet quality and you should require that the new owners have her spayed.

I am sorry but I have worked with rescue groups and shelters and I know that many a dog can walk the walk and talk the talk but if you were to have a look at her blood lines I bet you would gasp in horror.

I am glad to see your concern for her & I hope she gets a good home. Unless the breeder wanted her back if you decided not to keep her. You might call and check, you might even ge your money back.

well, I would concentrate on getting a good home for her rather than a good price for her, although it is important not to give her away, as anyone who is prepared to pay good money will really want her. I had to sell a pedigree dog once; my advice is to make sure you are happy with the new home and owners. That is better than any sum of money. Be prepared to have them come to you and leave without taking the dog, to see how they interact with her. The, when you have seen a few people, make a short list of the ones you like best then go vist them, to see what their places are like - ask questions and nose around, don't be shy! Make sure the house your seeing them in is theirs and they have a good secure garden. Do they have other pets? Have they ever had a Pomeranian before? Will they let you visit when you like? Send a photo now and then? That way, you are making sure you are not giving her to people who will just sell her on for breeding or more money - perhaps have her neutered first, then you know she can't be used in this way. Then you could add this on to the price. at least $/£400. I would say

You should just give her away to someone who will love her forever, not be looking for her a new home in a couple of months like you are. People should never buy a dog on a whim. You should have thought about the fact that you had a full time job before you got her not after. Give her away, don't sell her.

NO!Free to good home is the worst price. Animal labs pick up the free to good home animals, and any idiot will stop and picker up to be discarded later. Ask for a higher amount (the more people invest in the pet the less likely they will be disposable later) This also discourages impulse buyers.

How much did you pay for her? Call the breeder and ask how much they will give you for her. You could check out web sites for pets and see how much they are offering a 4 month old for. Try www.puppyfinder.com. Just be careful who you allow to buy her, check them out. You want her to go to a safe and loving home.

You should contact a local pomeranian rescue group for assistance in finding your dog a good home.

You don't want your puppy to get into the wrong hands.

Forever 21 is a good store. They cater to a lot of styles and the stuff is pretty inexpensive. If you are willing to spend a bit more try American Eagle they have very good quality stuff. Good luck!!! :)
