Looking for one who is really good at suggesting a cut and style that works. I've tried many of the salons here but have been very disappointed in the cut and color when compared to what I am paying. I find it is impossible to find someone who is able to truly provide a professional consultation and recommend specific styles or even hair color! I am not sure what would work best for me - that's why I want a professional. Every stylist I go to can't seem to go beyond "what do you want". Help!

If you really want a consultation from someone that's as much an artist as a hair stylist, someone that takes into account the shape of your face, the texture of your hair, your skin color, and even your personality before touching you, a professional from New York that's been in the industry for over 20 years - then put some gas in your car and make an appointment with Jayne at Capricorn I in Hebron. It's a bit of a drive for you but you won't be disappointed. If you're as tired of the same old thing as your question makes it sound, make an appointment.
