They're the "mini rottweilers" (although they dont have rott blood) And I want one SO BAD! My boyfriend's getting a Rott and I think they'd be such a cute pair.

I'm just curious to hear from someone who actually has one- what is their temperment?

I do know that they are a mixed breed and do not yet have recognition. I am also aware that they are a mix between a pug and a mini pinn and are not actually related to Rotts at alll.

I just want to hear from someone who has been around them. Are they jumping and annoying like mini pinns?

They look like the might be, i'd much rather stick to a rescue dog, that has had a bad life that I can make feel loved again. Cross breeds are the best!

DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE.

This is a new mix and it seems some breeders are trying to actually create a "breed" with the goal of eventual breed recognition.

That being said, they do not all look like mini-rottweilers. Some look quite different.

Here is a page with some info. FYI: One site said there were only 5 breeders in the US trying to create this kind of dog.

Hope this helps.

they are yet another designer breed, of a min pin and pug cross. i would be leary of these breeders the pup are either tan or black and tan, and the black and tan one's have their tails docked and are called mini rotts and make money off of them. it is cute, but still a mutt. nothing wrong with mutts, i just have a hard time with outragous prices being charged for them, and no one checks into the health or temperment of the parents. i would guess the temperment would be around the same of a min pin or pug. hopefully closer to the pugs, but any pup could go either way since it's a mix of both breeds. either way, make sure you research any breeder and be aware that you are in fact buying a mutt. good luck. but yes a very nice looking mutt.
