how old is she? perms are not recommended for girls I believe 9 and under?
I take my daughter to a salon and let them do it, for me it is worth the extra money and it always looks way better than what I could do.

If her hair is wavy and you want it straight then what you need is a relaxer not a perm. A perm makes the hair curly. Because her curl pattern is so loose I recommend straighting her hair with a ceramic flat iron. If you give her a relaxer and you leave on too long (over process) then her hair will be badly damaged if not gone. Just make sure you use a heat protectant and don't put heat to her hair too often. If you have already relaxed her hair and it is not coming out straight then you may have under processed her hair and didn't leave it on long enough. Either way I believe the best option is to straighten it.

Do not give her a perm! You said her hair was beautiful so why change it. perms are meant for nappier textures and will probably be too harsh for her hair and damage it. You should try flat ironing her hair instead or going to a professional for help.

I am bi-racial too. And i have a bi-racial sister, and my mom uses the falt iron to straighten her hair out and some grease and some pantein and her hair..... So maybe you should do that too. And i hope that help your question correctly.. But the difference is, i have straight hair.... And my sister's hair is between straight and curly.. So you may need the kids perm to straighten that nappy hair out..

Use a flat iron hair straightener. Those things work on really curly hair they will definetelly work on wavy hair. Make sure to use a hot iron protecter something you spray on the hair so it doesnt get as damaged by the flat iron.

If her hair is wavy you should flat iron it. I think you mean relaxer not perm. you should take her to a salon and let a professional do it. it will come out much straighter.

Flat iron her hair. If she's old enough teach her how to do it herself as well. Perm/relaxer will only damage her beautiful hair.

Use a ceramic straightener, it makes your hair shine and flow nicely without the hard chemicals. You can get them in a salon, just make sure that its is real ceramic otherwise the knock offs will dry your hair and we know that sucks.
Good Luck!
